Re: Buzzbox round 1 pre race chat
I'm going the UFR which holds the quicker WR at every track so... My best time so far is around the 2:03 flat mark but haven't really found the limits yet because my setup is soooooo shite Should be 2:02 flat or high 2:01's come Monday

Re: Buzzbox round 1 pre race chat
I haven't really given the XFR a decent bash yet, so I'm going to take that out for a spin, I think. Besides, I like the skin I have for the XFR much more than the one I have for the UFR. It is early days, but I'm only managing a 2:05 at the moment, although I think there's a lot of time to be made up through the dipper. I'll definitely have to be careful to nurse the tyres.

XFR for me, I love my shift cut. After a lot of tweakin, managed a few laps in the 2:04 (highish) on my race set with fuel. AS7R is a fun track for these cars.

XFR for me. Started off around 2:08, but after getting a few tips on wheel settings I've knocked it down to mostly 2:06's with the occasional 2:05. Still got a few places where I can knock off some tenths before tomorrow night.

Doing only mid 1.08's in the XFR and destroying tires after 2 laps. Never been so uncompetitive! Help?!

Re: Buzzbox round 1 pre race chat
I've strapped R4's on the front of my XFR to get it to make the distance. You still need to mind the throttle whenever your wheels aren't pointing straight ahead, though.
2:04.5 is my best so far, averaging in the 2:05's.
It looks like the UFR's have an advantage here, but the reverse grids and the risk of roll-over might mix things up a bit for them.

Re: Buzzbox round 1 pre race chat
Yeah I'm thinking I'll swap to R4's for the race too, just to make them last a few laps longer before inevitably cooking themselves.
I haven't tried the UFR myself, but Crash Dummy did and said it's quite a handful.
